When writing the content, follow the below best SEO practices for great SEO results.

  • Writing Lengthy Content –

When you start your SEO writing, make sure you write a minimum of 500 words long content, as based on my experience google ranks content pages rather than product pages.

  • Meta Titles –

keep your page title concise and effective, make sure to add at least 60 to 70 characters to your page’s meta title and place your main keyword into it.

your

Meta titles
  • Meta Description

The most effective meta description is 160 to 300 characters long. It means there is a great opportunity for you to add your target keywords to it.
Meta description
  • Headers

You Know we use different heading on a page to properly structure our content. But it becomes more effective when you add your target keywords to HEADING 1 and other related keywords or synonyms in Heading 2, and 3. This helps google better understand your page’s content.

  • Keywords Density

Most of the new SEOs get it wrong, as they do keyword stuffing as if they think it will help their SEO, But I always keep the keyword density At a maximum of 3% and it ultimately helps me get better SEO traffic.

  • The URL/Slug

Make sure you add your main keyword to the page’s URL, but make sure it is descriptive and concise.

  • Adding Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI)

LSI keywords are the other related and supporting keywords of the main keyword. LSI keywords will help boost contextuality of your content and yield great SEO benefits. To find LSI keywords, I would recommend LIS Graph, which is an outstanding tool for finding LSI keywords.

  • Image SEO

There’s more to image SEO than simply choosing the right file name and adding a good alt text. You’ll also want to make sure your images are the appropriate size and resolution, and that you’re using captions wisely to improve your search engine visibility.

What is off-page SEO?

Off-page SEO is the process of optimizing a website’s external profile and visibility through third-party websites, directories, and other online communities. Off-page optimization tactics can include link building, social media outreach, and article and blog submission.

  • Create high-quality, informative content on your website and blog. This will help improve your website’s SEO ranking and increase organic traffic.
  • Publish guest posts on popular industry websites and blogs. This will help you build links and gain exposure to new audiences.
  • Participate in online and offline industry events as a sponsor or speaker. This will help you build relationships with potential customers and partners.
  • Conduct online webinars and podcasts to reach new audiences and educate them about your products and services.

What is eCommerce Technical SEO?

Technical SEO is the practice of optimizing a website so that it meets the search engine’s technical requirements and performs well in its results pages. This includes improving website speed, ensuring proper indexing of site content, and reducing the number of crawl errors. Technical SEO can also encompass fixing broken links and other on-page errors.

For the best technical SEO, follow the tips below.

1. Set up 301 redirects for all your old pages.

When you move your website or change the permalinks of your pages, you need to set up 301 redirects. This is a way for the search engine to know where to send people when they try to access the old page. If you don’t set up 301 redirects, you could lose a lot of traffic – and potential customers.

To set up 301 redirects, you need to create a .htaccess file. This is a text file that tells the server how to handle requests for certain URLs. You can use a text editor like Notepad++ to create the file. If you use a CMS like WordPress, then you can get help from some great SEO plugins like Yoast or Rankmath.

2. Make sure your website is mobile-friendly.

Nearly 60% of web traffic now comes from mobile devices, so it’s important that your website is designed responsively. This means that it will look good and be easy to use on any device, from a desktop computer to a phone or tablet. Not only is it important to have a mobile-friendly website, but you also need to make sure all of your content is mobile-friendly as well.

Google now uses mobile-friendliness as a ranking factor for websites, so if your site isn’t responsive, you’re likely to rank lower in search results, which results in low organic traffic to your e-commerce store

3. Use structured data markup to help search engines understand your content.

One way to help search engines understand your content is to use structured data markup. This is a way of adding tags to your content that help search engines better understand what it is about.

There are a number of different types of structured data markup, including Schema.org, Microdata, and JSON-LD. You can use any of these formats to add a markup to your content.

Schema.org is the most popular type of structured data markup. It was created by Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft as a way of standardizing the way data is marked up.

4. Check your website for broken links and fix them.

Broken links on your website can be very frustrating for your visitors. Not only are they inconvenient, but they can also hurt your SEO. Google penalizes websites for having broken links.

You can check for broken links on your website by using a tool like Screaming Frog or Xenu’s Link Sleuth. These tools will crawl your website and find any broken links. Once you have the list of broken links, you can fix them by either updating the link or deleting it altogether.

5. Use a sitemap to help Google crawl and index your website

When it comes to SEO, one of the most important things you can do is make sure that Google can crawl and index your website properly. A sitemap is a great way to help Google do just that.

A sitemap is an XML file that contains a list of all the pages on your website. It helps Google crawl your website more effectively, and can also help you track how well your website is performing in terms of SEO.

If you’re not sure how to create a sitemap for your website, there are plenty of online tools and services that can help you do so.

Conclusion

The best way to take your eCommerce business to the next level is by making sure your site is optimized for maximum organic traffic. SEO is an ever-evolving process and you need to stay updated with the latest SEO changes and Google algorithm updates. By doing so, you’ll be able to improve your site’s ranking on search engines and hence increase your website traffic.
